  1. What Did This Learning Experience Mean To Me? By: Samy Tracy Fall ‘11

  2. “Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn.” –Benjamin Franklin

  3. Throughout this class I learned to: • Integrate technology • Keep students on track • Keep students meaningfully engaged • Operate these Web 2.0 tools: Windows Movie Maker (Wordle)

  4. “Do you know that there’s still a chance for you?Because there’s a spark in youYou just gotta igniteThe lightAnd let it shine.” At the beginning of the semester, I did not know if I could break out of my shell enough to become a good teacher And that’s what you have done, Dr. Theresa, ignited the light inside of all of us and let us shine!

  5. Think Like a Teacher • Be A Pro: • Do not wear GratefulDead tees • When in doubt, overdress • Keep it clean (body & mouth) • SMILE! all day everyday • NO-NO: -blue hair -sparkly dress

  6. THERE IS A BIG DIFFERENCE BETWEEN: If you want students to work independently, have their attention on you, and the front of the class, the “rows” method is purrfect! If you want to encourage students to work collaboratively, “group” classroom arrangements are fabuloso! Groups Rows VS.

  7. Encourage students: • To think creatively • To interact with each other • To learn the content • To reach their full potential

  8. USE TECHNOLOGY IN THE CLASSROOM!!!! Technology pushes students to reach their full potential and think more deeply about the content Seriously folks, do it
