  1. Digitize Your Dental Clinic With A China Intraoral Scanner The field of dentistry deals with detecting the underlying dental issues and treating them. In conventional method of treatment, dentists make use of X-ray machines to obtain static images of the patient’s teeth or use alginates to prepare crowns for the damaged teeth. However, digital devices such as the intraoral scanners have brought about a revolution in the field of dentistry. Their variants such as the China intraoral scanner can capture 3D moving images of the patients’ teeth and gums with ease and display them on a monitor for better analysis. The scanner emits a light source into the area to be scanned (inside the mouth) and captures thousands of images using sensors in quick succession. Thereafter, the images are processed by software to create an accurate 3D model of the teeth’s matrix. Such scanners have become efficient and handy tools in the hands of dentists to diagnose and treat dental issues in less time compared to a conventional practice. These have eliminated the need to use alginates and wax-ups for obtaining traditional impressions associated with implementing ceramic restorations.

  2. Savings on using a China intraoral scanner By using intraoral scanners, dental clinics can save a considerable amount on PVC material and plaster for creating teeth models by eliminating the need to take physical impressions. Besides, there can be savings on shipping and storage of such materials as well. A one-time investment in a China intraoral scanner can make the job of an orthodontist, simple, convenient, and less time-consuming. The images obtained from the patients’ teeth can be easily and securely stored on a hard disk or cloud. Savings on time Studies have shown that the use of intraoral scanners can save time by streamlining the workflow. There is practically no comparison between the digital and analog workflows in creating aesthetic restorations. This is due to the fact that digital scanning takes around five minutes with no usage of impression materials or waiting for the alginates to dry. Further, there are no issues of patients feeling gagged given that he or she does not have to hold the glue-like material inside the mouth. This translates into the dentist getting more time to attend to other patients. Faster workflows Thanks to the use of such scanners, dentists are able to accomplish as much work as they used to do using conventional means but in half the time. If a patient comes with a broken tooth, the digital lab can create a permanent crown from the digital images obtained from the scanner. Thus, the process is way faster than a conventional one with dentists able to eliminate certain oft-repeated practices (taking impressions from X-ray images and preparing crowns from alginates) from the workflow. Improved patient comfort Apart from its clarity of images and accuracy, a China intraoral scanner also offers improved patient comfort. The patients no longer have to endure unpleasant tasting materials and possible gagging. Instead, they can relax on a chair while the scanning probe quietly films the images inside the mouth and display them on the monitor. Also, the patient can see for himself or herself the condition of teeth in 3D colour. No wonder, digital intraoral scanners are preferred by patients. Conclusion Conventional dentistry is time-consuming, error-prone, and may cause anxiety in patients. However, intraoral scanners can do away with such issues and provide faster turnarounds, better efficiency, and more patient comfort.
