  1. TIPS YOU MUST KNOW ABOUT ACRYLIC PAINT MARKER PENS

  2. WATER-BASED PAINT The term "paint marker" is commonly used to refer to (1) acrylic paint markers, (2) permanent markers, and (3) permanent ink marker pens. If you've ever used crayons that need to be shaken vigorously before use to allow the ball bearings to mix the paint and oil, you know oil crayons. Because these markers are oil solvent based, they leave a strong odor and are not suitable for use on (or around) children or in poorly ventilated areas. Permanent markers take longer to dry than acrylic markers.

  3. VERSATILITY - So acrylic paint markers can be used for anything! It doesn't matter if the surface is light or dark, rough or smooth. Porcelain, glass, plastic, cloth, wood, metal, rubber, leather, anything. Whether it's a mug, keychain, or t-shirt, personalizing your stuff is a lot of fun. But perhaps the most common use of acrylic crayons is rock painting (sometimes called stone painting or pebble painting). Stones of various shapes and sizes are gorgeous decorations for children's rooms and wonderful gifts to give to others.

  4. PROPERTIES - High-quality acrylic pencil colors dry permanently on porous surfaces such as wood, fabric, paper, and stone. If the pen is used on non-porous (or shiny) surfaces such as glass, mirrors, ceramics, metals, etc., the color will not completely fade after drying. It also takes longer to dry than a porous surface. Acrylic paint is prone to cracking and chipping on glossy surfaces. Many people like to paint pottery and porcelain because they can dry the paint before putting it in the oven. It not only adds vibrancy to the color, but it also hardens the color and makes it permanent. Be sure to check beforehand if the porcelain or ceramic you are using is oven proof.
