  3. COINS • In the United States we have 4 coins • Pennies • Nickels • Dimes • Quarters

  4. PENNIES • Pennies have a value of 1 cent. • 100 pennies = 1 dollar • Abraham Lincoln’s face is on the penny.

  5. NICKLES • Nickels have a value of 5 cents. • 20 nickels= 1 dollar. • Thomas Jefferson’s face is on the nickel.

  6. DIMES • Dimes have a value of 10 cents. • 10 dimes= 1 dollar. • Franklin Roosevelt’s face is on the dime.

  7. QUARTERS • Quarter’s have a value of 25 cents. • 4 Quarters= 1 dollar • George Washington’s face in on the quarter.
