  2. 1.1 What are goals of the lecture series? Students recognize the variety of ethical issues in business practice They have activated prior knowledge based on the PBL case Students know how to make a business case for implementation of corporate social responsibility Students can develop the logic for the integrity case They know the steps to introduce value based management into an organization Students can distinguish the oxymoron case from thebusiness case and the integrity case. They are familiar with the method of Problem Based Learning 03.01.2020 Unternehmensethik 2

  4. 1.3 When will we meet? • May 12 (11:30 – 1 pm) Course Overview Introduction to PBL • May 13 (9 am – 1 pm) „The decision“ – a PBL case Moral und ethics in the business context The oxymoron case • May 14 (9 am – 1 pm) The business case for corporate social responsibility • May 15 (9 am – 1 pm) The integrity case for value based management • May 16 (9 am – 1 pm) Poster Presentation Unternehmensethik

  5. 1.4 Grading 2 Credit Points will be awarded • Grades based on - participation in class - group work - completion of assignment - poster presentatio - attendance (missing on day – 20%, more = failed) • 90%-100% = 580%-89% = 470%-79% = 360%-69% = 2 50%-59% = 1 under 50 % =failed 90
