  9. Project title: Circuit breaker support IDEA: Increase length of circuit breaker support to minimise wastage Status: Implemented Benefits: Savings Achieved R375 000 P/annum Over 10 years projected savings = R3 750 000

  10. Project title: Cash-O-Meter IDEA The idea was to provide all employees with a platform to participate in the cost saving initiative. Each employee will be able to log their daily or monthly saving and how they achieved this on the Innovation Circuit website. These savings will be collaborated and showcased on both the Eskom intranet and the Innovation Circuit homepage by means of a savings meter. MAJOR DELIVERABLE/S • functional, user friendly and easily accessible platform TIMEFRAME AND STATUS 1 month – Implemented BENEFIT TO ESKOM • provide the business with solutions to the cash flow challenge • employee participation (Culture change) • Actual ROI thus far =R13 million +, Projected ROI R100 million +
