  2. Core Standard 3 The lesson I chose to create in a power point focus on the literacy target of short ‘Aa’. Students will have the opportunity to use the short ‘Aa’ sound by counting the target, hearing the target and saying the target. Students will be able to recognize the short ‘Aa’ sound in an alliterative phrase. Phonological and Phonemic Awareness - Students develop phonological and phonemic awareness.

  3. Andy Anteaters’ Adventure Andy is an Anteater that loves to find things that begin with the letter ‘Aa’. Can you make the short sound of ‘Aa’ like in Andy Anteater?
