  2. What kind of VISA you should apply? • For activity below 60 days, Please apply Socio-Cultural Visit VISA(Index B211) • For activity more than 60 days, Please apply Student VISA(Index C316)

  3. #For Your Information 4. KITAS Limited Stay Permit Card for VITAS user. Issued by immigration office near domicile. Should be processed within 7 days after arrival. 5. MERP (Multiple Entry Re-Entry Permit) For KITAS user only. It automatically applied when you apply for MERP 6. STM (Surat TandaMelapor) Police Report. Should be processed within 7 days after KITAS Issuance. 7. Domicile Letter Residential Letter from RT/RW(Chief Neighborhood) and Kelurahan(Adminstrative District Office). 8. SKTT (Surat KeteranganTempatTinggal) Temporary Residential Card. Should directly processed after STM issuance. 9. EPO (Exit Permit Only) For returning back student’s KITAS to immigration office before leaving Indonesia. 1. Study Permit A permit issued by Ministry of Education, Jakarta. • Telex VISA Visa reccomendation for apply VITAS, issued by Ministry of Law and Human Rights, Directorate General of Immigration, Jakarta. 3. VITAS Limited Stay Visa, Valid for 6 months or 1 year.

Steps for Pre-Departure (Student VISA C316) Letter of Acceptance(LOA) The Students receive LOA From Receiving Campus Study Permit Student sends some relevant documents to Polibatam’s Office for International Affairs(OIA). The docs will be submitted to study permit application. This permit issued by Ministry of Higher Education. Telex VISA OIA will use the study permit to apply Telex VISA. In this steps, students should pay Rp.100.000 for registration fee. Telex is issued by Directorate General of Immigration Indonesia Process Time: 2-4 weeks Process Time: 1 week Arrival Meet Polibatam Office for International Affairs Embassy of Indonesia With Telex, student apply the VISA to Indonesian Embassy on their respective country. Process Time: 2-5 days

  5. Steps after arrival for Limited Stay Permit (VISA/VITAS > KITAS > EPO) RT/RW(Head of Resident) Apply for Domicile Letter of Resident. Submitted by OIA Kelurahan(Head of District) Apply for Domicile Letter of District. Submitted by OIA Arrivalat Indonesia Meet Office for International Affairs of POLIBATAM. Process Time: 1 Day Process Time: 1-2 Days EPO Exit Permit Only/EPO must be applied 7 days before leaving Indonesia Limited Stay Permit Card(KITAS) & Multiple Entry(MERP) When arrive at Indonesia, the VISA must be converted to KITAS & MERP within 7 Days at Indonesia Immigration Office. Fees depend on length of stay(see slide 9) Process Time: 3-5 Days Process Time: 1-2 weeks

  6. STUDY PERMIT After the acceptance, students should apply study permit before travel oversease. Please fullfil these requirement and send to email oia@polibatam.ac.id with jpeg/pdf format(not more than 300kb) at least 2 month before your coming: • Photo 4x6cm • Admission form from receiving university • Curriculum Vitae • Scan of Passport (minimum validity 18 month before expire) • Personal Statement(will not work, not do political act and obey Indonesia regulation) • Letter of Financial Support • Medical Statement/Medical Record • Letter of Acceptance from receiving university • Diploma certificate/certificate of attendance

KITAS RENEWAL Please fullfil these requirement and send to email oia@polibatam.ac.id with jpeg format(300kb) 3 months before your expiry date: • Recommendation letter from your department • Health Certificate • Personal Statement(will not work, not do political act and obey Indonesia regulation) • Statement and Guarantee Letter from International Office • Letter of Financial Support • Score of Trancsript(Print from sia.polibatam.ac.id) • Colored copy of Passport • Copy of KITAS • Copy of STM(Police Report) • Copy of SKTT(Temporary Residential Card) • ID Photo, 2pcs (4x6cm)

  8. For Socio-Cultural Visit VISA user! Valid for 30 or 60 days from your arrival date, please check! Renewal Please come to International Office max. 2 weeks before your VISA expiry date Documents: • Recommendation Letter from Polibatam • Personal statement Letter (put materai 6000 and sign) • Copy of Passport • Copy of Domicile Letter • Filled the form at the local immigration office

  10. Please Note!!When visit Immigration Office You should DO: Dress politely, collared shirts, long jeans/pants, and shoes. It’s a mandatory to report to international office and local immigration office if you change your address. You Should NOT do: Please don’t wear short pants, short skirt, shirt, sandals, sleeveless and tank top.
