  1. Circulation of old currency notes Rs 100, 10 and 5

  2. Speculation along with reports • There is a speculation along with reports in circulation of old currency notes. There has been Rs 100, 10 and 5. It is going to stop by March-April. We have found that Reserve Bank of India claim that Central bank did not have any plans.

  3. Fake News • They had a report indicating that it is 'fake'. The spokesperson from RBI had thrashed the fake reports. It had stated that they did not plan those move. We did not get any official confirmation from Reserve Bank of India.

  4. Discussion • There are a number of media publications where the Assistant General Manager from Reserve Bank of India, B Mahesh had been talking to District Level Security Committee along with District Level Currency Management Committee.

  5. Withdraw of notes • He had attended the meeting and claimed old notes of Rs 5, 10, and 100 will be taken off from circulation with the plan of RBI. They are going to withdraw within March-April.

  6. Type of currency • There are currency notes which are new for 100 rupees and they had been released under Reserve Bank of India within 2019. RBI have been issued about Rs 100 notes and the color is lavender. They have a motif showing 'Ranikivav' and this is a stepwell situated over Saraswati river banks in Patan, Gujarat.

  7. Rs 100 banknotes • As per Central Bank, most of Rs 100 banknotes which have been issued before are going to carry out legal tender. According to the claim of central bank, they are going to talk about the issue about Rs 100 notes. RBI had launched Rs 200 note other than currency note under denomination Rs 2,000 subsequent to the demonetisation on 8th November, 2016.

  8. RTI query in 2019 • A response has been made on RTI query in 2019. Reserve Bank of India had claimed that they had stopped the banknote printing which have a high value. It offers explanation on Rs 2000 notes and they had been taken from ATMs.

  9. Rs 10 coin • The authorities were talking about Rs 10 coin subsequent to 15 years for the introduction. The traders did not accept the coin. The businessmen did not accept the coin. It turned out to be a problem for RBI and banks.

  10. Rumors of coin • The rumors had come up associated with the coin. It caused doubt in people for the validity. The shopkeepers and traders did not accept Rs 10 coin which does not possess the symbol of rupee over them.
