  1. World War II • In the US the country was official neutral. However, President Roosevelt convinced Congress to lend whatever aid they could to the British. This introduced the idea of Cash & Carry: where as long as a country essential to US security could pay for weapons (in cash) and carry them away, we would sell to them.

  6. History Fair Fundraiser (part 2) Oreo Eating Contest • Can you eat more Oreos that Mr. Sinksiand Mr. Carroll? (doubt it) • See Mr. Carroll for possible sign up. • The cost is 2 dollars to watch the contest. Proceeds benefit the History Fair. • Contest will be held in Rm#103 Thursday during lunch.

Announcements • If you would like to submit a story, poem or essay for the Spartan book publication, please email book@cpatc.org. • Mrs. Langel is selling school supplies before school or at lunch • Beef Jerky for sale in the main office. • If you have lost your student ID, email passarro.kariann@cpatc.org • You must have your student ID in order to check out a lap top. • Please stop by the main office to pick up lost and found.

  12. Spring Break 2015 • The deadline for the invitees to have exclusive registration for the Spring Break 2015 Costa Rica trip has passed. There are a few seats left open and they are now available to the general public of the school. Dress Code • Students are required to wear “Dockers-Style” Pants or Shorts. • NOT Spandex or Leggings or Tights or Yoga Pants or Sweats, Etc. • Shorts and skirts are required to be at least finger-tip length. If violations continue, students will be required to buy pants from a specific vendor (as we do with tops) next year. • Students are asking to switch over to jeans next year, but that will notbe considered unless things improve NOW. • ONLYschool hoodies are allowed.

  15. Announcements • Pick up trash from school grounds at lunchtime. • New Policy: No spraying of any kind inside classrooms. All sprays should be administered OUTSIDE the classrooms. • Lunch tutoring day change: Swap Tuesdays and Fridays. Spanish is now on Tuesdays and Science is now on Fridays at lunch.
