About Us ProBatter Sports, LLC was established in 1999, originally as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Kent Communications, Ltd., a diversified publishing and communications company that started in 1982. In 2000, ProBatter was spun off as a separate entity as a result of private placement financing. Devoted to establishing the ProBatter pitching systems as the “ultimate baseball training device,” ProBatter brought together a dynamic team of talented engineers, software developers, and video specialists along with a number of former professional and collegiate baseball players to ensure that the ProBatter system was truly state of the art. These individuals believed that there had to be a better way to teach and practice hitting. They observed that conventional pitching machines had a number of serious drawbacks.

It is the third and current generation of video pitching simulators offered by ProBatter Sports, the company that first introduced video pitching simulators in 1999 and has installed more than 600 simulators throughout the United States and in 8 international countries. Relying on a cutting-edge, computerized, pitch head and operated by a touch screen controller, it stands out amount pitching machines because it has a video projection screen onto which is projected the HD quality video image of real pitchers. The video image is synchronized with the release of an actual baseball through a hole in the screen from the pitch head positioned behind it.

5. PX3 Softball The ProBatter PX3 Softball Video Simulator is the premier video pitching simulator in the world for fastpitch softball. Operated by a touch screen controller and containing a video projection screen onto which the image of an actual pitcher is projected, it delivers professional quality pitches thrown to multiple positions both within and outside the strike zone at speeds between 30 and 70 MPH. It throws virtually any pitch that a softball pitcher can throw, including risers, drops, curves, and changeups which permit a softball hitter to simulate game-like conditions in a batting cage. The simulator can be manually operated or programmed to deliver a specific pre-selected sequence of pitches.

6. ProBatter Video Converson Kit ProBatter Sports introduces a NEW video conversion kit for your Hack Attack baseball and softball pitching machines. The kit will quickly and affordably transform a conventional batting cage or training/academy area into a high tech, multiple pitch video simulator. Included are a projection screen and frame, a video projector, a 225 ball feeder and a computer controller. (The Hack Attack pitching machine is also available at an additional cost.) The pitching motion of an actual pitcher on the projection screen will be synchronized with the release of the ball from the Hack Attack pitching machine for the ultimate in realistic training.

7. PX3 Cricket Simulator The ProBatter PX3 Cricket Video Simulator is the only one of its kind in the world and is used by a number of the top national teams and the ICC Training Center. Relying on a cutting edge pitch head and operated by a touch screen controller, the PX3 simulator contains a video production screen on which is projected the video image of a real-life cricket bowler whose timing is synchronized with the pitch head. It is capable of bowling at between 60 and 160 KPH. The PX3 simulator allows batters to experience game-like conditions resulting in improved timing, rhythm, and match performances.

Strike Out Pro Strike Out Pro™ is a new, hi-tech pitching system that displays the video images of actual batters on a projection screen with portions of the strike zone highlighted as "hot zones" for the pitcher to try to hit. Both right-handed and left-handed batters can be displayed and the hot zones can be varied from batter to batter using a wireless tablet. At the end of the session, the speed, and accuracy of each pitch are displayed on the tablet. 9. Entertainment and Permotion ProBatter’s Fan Attraction Package is based on our Tunnels to Go® product which includes a trailer mounted, video pitching simulator and inflatable batting cage. The fan enters the cage, watches a video image on a projection screen of an actual pitcher winding up and then tries to hit the pitch that is delivered through the screen in perfect synchronization with the image. Want to increase excitement? Use videos of the actual game pitcher and really get their attention. A scoring system is provided to display the distance the ball is actually hit. A net batting cage can be used in permanent installations.
