Spiritual Formation Defined Spiritual formation in the Christian tradition is the process by which Jesus Christ is formed (transformation) in the inmost dimension of the human being (e.g. heart, will, soul or spirit). Jesus’ teachings, values, morals & world view are so formed in the person that his/her natural life expressions come to be the supernatural life of Christ expressed in the power of Holy Spirit.
