  2. AWS CLOUD MIGRATION STRATEGY Cloud migration is the moving of data, applications and services from an on-premise site to a cloud computing environment. Cloud migration also includes “cloud to cloud” migration where the workload is transferred from one cloud to another and “uncloud migration” also known as declouding where the workload is shifted from the cloud back to the on-prem data centre.

REHOST 1 Rehost strategy is the migration of the entire system to the AWS platform, without making any changes to the underlying coding structure.In this AWS migration methodology, the applications are to be re-architected once they are migrated to the cloud, since such “lift and shift” systems are not commonly designed to utilize the cloud services.
