Multinational Planning Augmentation Team (MPAT) A cadre of military planners from nations with Asia-Pacific interests capable of rapidly augmenting a multinational force (MNF) headquarters established to plan and executemultinational coalition operations in response to military operations other than war (MOOTW) / small scale contingencies (SSC)

Venue to share MNF/CTF HQ processes Maintain a cadre of planners proficient in crisis action planning for CTF HQ staff augmentation Develop habitual relationships among MPAT cadre Meet periodically to practice MNF SOP procedures: CTF activation, forming, planning, and employment Include interested nations in MPAT events and appropriate IO, NGO, and UN agencies MPAT PROGRAM BELONGS TO ALL INTERESTED NATIONS MPAT A Rapidly Maturing Vision

MPAT Objectives • Improve Interoperability and Multinational Cooperation • Reduce Crisis Response Time and Increase Coalition Task Force (CTF) / MNF Effectiveness • Strengthen and Practice Multinational Force (MNF) Command, Control, Computer, and Information Systems Procedures • Develop and Become Familiar With Common Standing Operating Procedures (SOP) For MNF / CTF HQ

MPAT coordinated by MPAT Secretariat
