  2. What is a Reflexive Pronoun? • A reflexive pronoun is a word that indicates the same personal pronoun.

  3. Reflexive Pronouns, Continued. • You use a reflexive pronoun to talk about the same person or thing twice in a sentence. • Reflexive pronouns end in –self or –selves.

  4. Reflexive Pronoun Examples I am very shy. I surprised myself by volunteering to help at the women’s shelter. My brother likes to volunteer. He gives of himself by coaching soccer. Some people give of themselves by working with children.
