  2. How Much Will It Cost to Attend MWU? Average Annual costs (12- month budget) Figures based on 2010-11 Academic Year • $59,572 On-campus budget • $64,870 Off-campus budget • $55,090 With-parent budget Cost of Attendance increases 5% to 7% annually

Cost of Attendance Includes educationally related expenses for students: • Tuition, Books & Supplies • Health and Disability • Rent • Transportation, Auto Insurance & Registration • Personal Expenses • 1Dependent Care Expenses are not included (Exception: 1Daycare expense budget increase may be allowed for single students or married students with working spouses)

  10. Federal Work-Study • Must file the FAFSA • On Campus $9/hr • Off campus $11/hr • Community Service $11/hr • Awards start at $1,000 per year • Opportunities for professional research positions

Federal Loans • PERKINS: (subsidized) • Based on eligibility of neediest students • Amounts vary; ranges from $2500 to $3500 • Apply before priority deadline STAFFORD: (subsidized/unsubsidized) • Automatically awarded with FAFSA application • Annual maximum $20,500 • GRAD PLUS:(Credit-based) • Covers the remainder, up to cost of attendance.
