Suggested Evidence • Experiments on colour recognition • Claim: people group colours differently based on the language they speak • Falsification: people perceive the colours similarly • Dani and English speakers do similarly in colour recognition • Snow vocabulary in Eskimo • Claim: Eskimo has a very large snow vocabulary • Falsification: number of words for snow is comparable to English
