  2. Summary • A girl named Maya who lives with her strict grandmother. Maya is supposed to stay there for her entire life. But when Maya’s grandmother has a massive stroke, Maya is sent to live out in Nevada with her great aunt Vi, her great uncle Fig, her grandpa aka Moose, and her cousin Payton. Her mother lived there to because her parents died and had her own pony, Artemisia. When Maya an Artemisia meet , Maya realizes that Artemisia was her mothers pony. Read the book to find out where Artemisia and Maya’s adventures take them!!
