  2. Rampant Caries Rampant caries are very common and uncontrolled. Most of the posteriors going on towards the anteriors have decayed.

  3. Caries in Pits and fissures Active caries are most common on the occlusal of the posterior teeth and are using seen in the pits and fissures of the molars and premolars.

  4. Radiographic Caries Some caries cannot be seen clinically. The use of dental radiographs can help us identify hidden caries or progressing caries which can spread into the pulp cavity.

  5. Early Childhood Caries Nursing caries are due to improper feeding habits. Especially babies who sleep with their bottle in their mouths which causes the erupted teeth to be decayed.
