Conclusions – Please DO(See example on class web site) • Use complete sentences with good grammar (including spelling) • Restate the purpose • BRIEFLY restate the techniques used • Indicate numerical results (including % error) • Explain why error was above or below expected value • Provide two sources of error (for each unknown)

Conclusions – Please DON’T • Don’t use 1st person (I, we, our…..) • Don’t completely re-write the experimental procedure • Don’t include data tables • Don’t include calculations • Don’t use incorrect error analysis • Faulty equipment • Contamination of chemicals • Procedural mistakes (like spilling) • Misreading any piece of equipment (like a balance or thermometer) • Something random that you made up…..
