  6. Interesting thing 1 • As the principal church of the Catholic archdiocese of Paris, Notre Dame is the spiritual heart of the French capital. It is also a shrine that preserves the Crown of Thorns, said to have been forced upon the head of Jesus Christ before his crucifixion.

  9. Why did you choose this monument? • I chose this monument because I was interested in learning about the largest cathedral in Paris, and when I found out that the Notre Dame de Paris attracts more visitors than the Eiffel Tower I was very excited to learn more about it.
