  2. COSTUME COMPETITION?!? You will learn how to express your ASL grammatical markers, Non-Manual Markers and Descriptive Classifiers to demonstrate your photo of a costume. Whoever makes good grade and above will drop the lowest grade in this six week’s quiz. MINIMUM 23 PTS OUT OF 25 PTS on rubric.

  15. ASL Grammars How can you describe the whole costume by using ASL grammars? First: Name of the costume (fingerspell or sign) Second: Clothes, big part first such as pants or shirt or a dress Third: Focus on one article of clothing to describe.

  17. ASL ACTIVITY Two teams will compete against each other by guessing the name of character when a player describe the character’s appearance in clothing and hairstyle. You will participate in this activity to demonstrate a descriptive character for your team to guess.

  18. A photo of costume Project • A whole body of costume • 5 x 7 to 8 x 10 photo size, no less than 5 x 7 • Print a color photo, a page from magazine or a real photo (no phone or digital picture) • You will describe on what costume shows in the picture. • Look at your rubric handout
