Direct Registration FacilityIntroduction to DRF Direct Registration Facility (DRF) is AT&T’s Managed Services web based tool providing self administration of global account User IDs for IP services. DRF provides immediate response for single User ID creation, update, or deletion, a bulk process for multiple User ID requests, including the ability to upload a text file to process multiple User IDs requests, and a reporting section to view the status of previously submitted requests.

Direct Registration FacilityIntroduction to DRF DRF is a web-based User ID ordering tool for the following IP Services. • Business Internet Service • Business Internet Dial • Business Messaging Services • Business Internet Mail • Managed Instant Messaging • AVTS/Private IP/EVPN/AVPN/ANIRA Services • Managed Tunneling Services • AVTS Customer Direct Authentication (CDA) • IPDIAL • Remote Access Services • Secure IP, Dual Access, ATS Dial, Mail Access Service, Multi-Protocol Tunneling

  5. Direct Registration FacilityService Features Features may not be available for all Services. Contact your AT&T rep for more info on Features. Extended Roaming . Broadband AVTS SSL IPSEC Tunnel In DRF, Service features can be enabled/disabled to User ID. Wi-Fi Transparent Tunneling Wireless Available for User IDs registered to EMEA & JP accounts. AT&T enables WiFion an account’s model ID. CPOC can update a User ID to point to the model ID where WiFi is enabled. Refer to DRF Help for complete listing of services & features. Wireless is not offered to User IDs registered to U.S. accounts.

AT&T BusinessDirectPrerequisites for accessing DRF • Your BusinessDirect Account and ID must be authorized to the DRF ordering tool. • Your BusinessDirect ID must be mapped to a Remote Access Service Manager account and CPOC Administrator ID. • Your CPOC ID under the Remote Access Service Manager account must be an authorization level 6. • Your Remote Access Account must be enabled to use the DRF application. An administrator of an account is called a CPOC – Customer Point of Contact.

U.S. account should be enabled for one of these applications, not both. DRF For accounts registered to the U.S. Service Manager region, there are two User ID ordering tools. User ID Registration

  9. AT&T BusinessDirectLaunching Direct Registration Facility DRF is located on the Tools tab under Ordering & Status. Your BusinessDirect ID transfers you to your Service Manager Account and CPOC ID so you can administer to the User IDs in your account. Click to open.

  14. Direct Registration FacilityNavigation Bar New Order – use this option to place orders to add, update, move or delete User IDs. Reporting – pull reports showing DRF orders that have been placed on your account or to see the progress of recently placed orders. Administration – use this option to update or create customer options templates. Feedback – if you are having an issue or a question about the DRF tool that you wish to contact AT&T about, click this option. Check the Help section first, located in the upper right corner of the DRF tool. Cust. Suppt. Svc. Selection – exit from DRF by clicking this option. You will be taken to the main Customer Support screen where you can choose other tools from the Select a Service menu. Help– access DRF help panels. Complete index of DRF tools Exit DRF to select other CPOC tools CPOC can access all parts of DRF via the Navigation Bar

  17. Place Image Here New Order Options New Order options are accessible via the DRF Navigation Panel on the DRF home page.

Direct Registration FacilityNew Order Options • Use the New Order function to add, update, move or disco (delete) User IDs. • Create, update or disco User IDs one at a time using the Single User feature or order in bulk using the Multiple Order feature. You can also upload a file, using a pre-formatted template that is available to you in DRF Help or from an AT&T representative, to create, update or disco User IDs. • DRF supports 2-8 character User IDs which need only be unique within the account. CPOC can place User ID orders for his own account and for other accounts to which his account is cross-authorized.

  20. Add – create new User ID. Update – change existing User ID’s profile; reinstate User ID that has been deleted within the past 30 days. To reinstate User ID, it must have a service defined to it. Reinstated User ID will have the same password and service it had before it was discoed. Move – move User ID from one account id to another. The account the User ID is moving to must be enabled for the same services and features as the account the User ID is moving from. CPOC can only utilize this option if both accounts are enabled to DRF and those accounts are cross-authorized (i.e., one account is authorized to place orders for the other account). If accounts need to be cross-authorized, CPOC should send a request for cross-authorization via DRF feedback. Disco – delete/cancel existing User ID. Delete customer’s RealUser ID – exclusive to accounts that are using 3rd Party Authentication (Proxy RADIUS)and have Unregistered User IDs on a flat rate billing plan.   22. Complete all information: 1.Account ID field is already populated. If account is cross-authorized with other accounts, CPOC can select a different account by clicking the Browse button and selecting the desired account. 2. Type in new User ID to be created. User ID should be between 2-8 characters and be unique within the account. “Order User ID with services defaulting to the below Account and Customer Options” section allows you to choose acustomer options template to be used: 3. If cross-authorized, Account ID can be changed to an account listed in the Browse box. 4. From the Browse box, select Customer Options template. In this example, new User ID is being created with Customer Options template named INTERNET. Click on Next. Direct Registration FacilityNew Order – Single UserAdd On the DRF navigation bar, click on New Order/Single User/Add. The Single User ADD panel will come up.

  23. 1. Type in User Name – field not mandatory. 2. Type in User’s Employee Identifier – this could be a department, site or employee Human Resource number – field not mandatory. 3 and 4. Type in User ID’s password. If you do not supply a password, system will automatically create a random password for you. In this example, password was supplied by the CPOC, and the Customer Options template (Internet) was set up with User ID’s initial password expiring, thus the user will be prompted for a new password. Submit the order. If User ID requires additional features (i.e., Extending Roaming), instead of submitting the order, click on Advanced Options button to further customize the User ID.   24. Direct Registration FacilityNew Order – Single UserAdd Order Result You will receive Order Result information. In this example, the User ID was created with Business Internet Service, a User Name and Unique Employment Identifier were added and a custom password was supplied.

  25. Direct Registration FacilityNew Order – Single UserAdd with features In this example, Extended Roaming will be added to the User ID being created. When creating a new User ID, to add a feature to the User ID, do not Submit the order. Click on Advanced Options.

  27. Direct Registration FacilityNew Order – SingleAdd with features Besides Extended Roaming, a service feature that can be added to User IDs enabled for BIS service is Email. For non-U.S. account, Wireless can be enabled. By checking Extended Roaming, User ID is enabled to dial in from other countries. Order can now be submitted.

Direct Registration FacilityNew Order – Single UserUpdate CPOC can change an existing User ID’s profile. • User Name–End user assigned to the User ID. • Unique Employee Identifier(HR ID) • Model ID- Identifies the group of security parameters to be inherited by the User ID, for instance, IP Hosts, host group authorizations, and service time out overrides. • Authorization Level– level of authority assigned to the User ID. • Services- if service is already authorized to the account. • Features– account must be authorized to the feature. • IP Host Address • Fixed IP Destination Address • Host Group • Personal Firewall

  31. Direct Registration FacilityNew Order – Single UserUpdate On the DRF navigation bar, click on New Order/Single User/Update. The Update Single User panel will come up. If User ID has Business Internet Service with Email, click on By Email IDto update by the UserID’sEmail address. You can update single user By User ID. This is the default.

  35. Direct Registration FacilityNew Order – Single UserUpdate You can specify Preferred Email IDs in order of your preference. If Email ID is available, system will assign it to the User ID. If you do not specify an Email ID or if your choices are not available, the system will automatically choose an Email ID for the User Id.

  37. If User ID has Email, click on By Email ID. Type in the User ID’s Email address. Click Next. Direct Registration FacilityNew Order – Single UserUpdate By Email ID CPOC will bepresented with the same panels as shown in New Order/Single User/Update – Updating By User ID.

  39. The account you are moving the User ID to must be enabled for the same services as the account you are moving the User ID from. Accounts must be cross-authorized. User ID can be moved By User ID or if Business Internet Services account and User ID has email, By Email ID. In this instance, ByUser ID has been selected. Account ID defaults to account CPOC logged in with. OR Click Browse to select a different account to move the User ID from. Type in New account User ID is moving to. OR Browse to select an account to move the User ID to. Type in User ID to be moved. Click Submit. Direct Registration FacilityNew Order - Single UserMove On the DRF navigation bar, click on New Order/Single Move. The Single User MOVE panel will come up. As the User ID’s AT&T Global Network Client has to be updated to the new Account ID, notify end user before placing Move order as order completes instantly.

User ID can be discoed via By User ID or if Business Internet Services account By Email ID. • Account ID defaults to account CPOC logged in with. • If cross-authorized, click Browse to select a different account. • Type in User ID to be deleted. • Click Next.

  43. Direct Registration FacilityNew Order – Single UserDisco – Order Confirmation Confirmation that User ID was discoed. As the User ID had a service enabled, User ID can be reinstated within 30 days of the disco date..

If User ID is not defined to this account and your account is cross-authorized with the account unregistered User ID is defined to, click Browse to select the account. Type in the Unregistered User ID that is being deleted. Click Next. Review order & click Submit. You will see confirmation that Unregistered User ID has been deleted from the account. Once User ID has been deleted, it cannot be reinstated.

Direct Registration FacilityNew Order – Single UserRecap • Single User ID orders complete instantly. • When adding a new User ID if you elect not to assign a password to the User ID the system will generate the initial password. System generated initial passwords can be retrieved from DRF reporting. • Existing User IDs can be updated to change parameters of the User ID. • An existing User ID can be moved to another account providing the account User ID is being moved to is enabled for the same services AND both accounts are cross-authorized in DRF. • Discoed (deleted) User IDs can be reinstated within 30 days if User ID has at least one service defined. • Delete Customer Real User ID is exclusive to accounts with Unregistered User IDs under flat rate billing plan. • The Report function provides detailed information on the success or failure of each request. Reports can be viewed for up to 18 months.

Direct Registration FacilityNew Order – Multiple User IDs • CPOC can create, update, move or disco up to 999 User IDs by cutting and pasting User Supplied List or By Specific Range. • CPOC can utilize the Move option for other accounts he administers to via DRF IF: • Both accounts are registered to DRF. • Both accounts are enabled to the same services and features. • Those accounts are cross-authorized (i.e.: one account is authorized to place orders for another of your accounts). • Before moving User IDs, CPOC should notify the end users to update the AT&T Global Client with their new Account ID. User IDs and their passwords will not change. • User IDs cannot be reinstated via the multiple user option (to reinstate multiple User IDs, use the file upload feature). • Delete Customer's RealUser ID – exclusive to accounts using 3rd Party Authentication (Proxy RADIUS) with Unregistered User IDs on a flat rate billing plan. • Order requests should complete within four (4) hours, depending on system activity and the number of User IDs being ordered. • CPOC can check the progress of the order via Reporting. Reports are kept for 18 months. Be sure to type your email address in the order form so you will be notified by email when order completes.
