  1. Al-Baqarah 2:255 Scientific evidences in Quran Allah! There is no God but Him, the Alive, the Eternal. Neither slumber nor sleep overtaketh Him. Unto Him belongeth whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth. Who is he that intercedeth with Him except by His leave? He knoweth that which is in front of them and that which is behind them, while they encompass nothing of His knowledge save what He will. His throne includeth the heavens and the earth, and He is never weary of preserving them. He is the Sublime, the Tremendous.

  2. Botany Cosmology Embryology Neurology Oceanography Geology Chemistry Biology Astronomy Physics

  3. Cosmology Surat Al-'Anbyā' (The Prophets), 21:30 Do not the Unbelievers see that the heavens and the earth were joined together (as one unit of creation), before we clove them asunder? We made from water every living thing. Will they not then believe? Al Fussilath Then turned He to the heaven when it was smoke, and said unto it and unto the earth: Come both of you, willingly or loth. They said: We come, obedient.

  4. Science of modern cosmology indicates that at one point of time the universe was nothing but a cloud of smoke (an opaque highly dense and hot gaseous composition, one of the undisputed principles of modern cosmology, new stars forming out of the remnants of that smoke The Big Bang theory is the prevailing cosmologicalmodel that explains the early development of the Universe. According to the Big Bang theory, the Universe was once in an extremely hot and dense state which expanded rapidly. This rapid expansion caused the Universe to cool and resulted in its present continuously expanding state. Initially proposed by Georges Lamaitre, Belgium priest scientist in 1931

  5. Dr. Alfred Kroner is one of the world’s renowned geologists.  He is Professor of Geology and the Chairman of the Department of Geology at the Institute of Geosciences, Johannes Gutenberg University, Mainz, Germany.  He said: “Thinking where Muhammad came from . . . I think it is almost impossible that he could have known about things like the common origin of the universe, because scientists have only found out within the last few years, with very complicated and advanced technological methods, that this is the case Also he said: “Somebody who did not know something about nuclear physics fourteen hundred years ago could not, I think, be in a position to find out from his own mind, for instance, that the earth and the heavens had the same origin.”

  6. Geology Geology Have We not made the earth a resting place? Surat An-Naba‘’78:6,7 And the mountains as pegs? Schematic section.  The mountains, like pegs, have deep roots embedded in the ground. (Anatomy of the Earth, Cailleux, p. 220.

  7. Surat Aţ-Ţalāq, 65:12 Allah is He Who created seven Firmaments (expanse of sky) and of the earth a similar number. Through the midst of them (all) descends His Command: that ye may know that Allah has power over all things, and that Allah comprehends, all things in (His) Knowledge.

  8. Surat Al-Baqarah, 2:29 It is He who created for you all of that which is on the earth. Then He directed Himself to the heaven, [His being above all creation], and made them seven heavens, and He is Knowing of all things. Al-Fussilath 41:12 And He completed them as seven heavens within two days and inspired in each heaven its command. And We adorned the nearest heaven with lamps and as protection. That is the determination of the Exalted in Might, the Knowing.

  9. Nuh 71:15 Do you not consider how Allah has created seven heavens in layers

  11. Embryology Surat Al-Mu'minūn Surat Al-Mu'minūn We created man from an extract of clay.  Then We made him as a drop in a place of settlement, firmly fixed.  Then We made the drop into an alaqah (leech, suspended thing, and blood clot), then We made the alaqah into a mudghah (chewed substance)...  (a clinging clot), (partly formed and unformed) and We made the clot into a lump [of flesh], and We made [from] the lump, bones, and We covered the bones with flesh; then We developed him into another creation. So blessed is Allah , the best of creator1 (Quran, 23:12-14)

  12. Literally, the Arabic word alaqah has three meanings: (1) leech, (2) suspended thing, and (3) blood clot. Embryo obtains nourishment from the blood of the mother, similar to the leech, which feeds on the blood of others A suspended thing

  13. Alaqah means blood clot Diagram of the primitive cardiovascular system in an embryo during the alaqah stage.  The external appearance of the embryo and its sacs is similar to that of a blood clot, due to the presence of relatively large amounts of blood present in the embryo. (The Developing Human, Moore, 5th ed., p. 65.)  Cardiovascular system development is at very early stage (21 days after conception baby’s heart beat can be heard, fully develop within 8 weeks) Bone development starts in 13th week Then the muscles wrap around the bone

  14. Drawing of an embryo at the mudghah stage.  We can see here the somites at the back of the embryo that look like teeth marks. (The Developing Human, Moore and Persaud, 5th ed., p. 79.)

  15. Development of respiratory system Hadith "When one of you was created in his mother's womb, he as a NUTFAH نطفه for 40 days, then became for 40 days a Aalaqa علقه , then became for 40 days Mudgha مضغه,  then Allah Almighty Sent to him the Angel (of Life to blow Life in him as stated in Noble Verse 32:9): Sahih Al-Bukhari, Volume 4, Book 55, Number 549 As Sajadah, 32:9 "But He fashioned him (man) in due proportion, and breathed into him something of His Spirit.  And He gave you (the faculties of) hearing and sight and feeling (and understanding): little thanks do ye give!   (The Noble Quran, 32:9)"

Source: http://www.babycentre.co.uk/pregnancy/fetaldevelopment/18weeks/ "Week 18: Your baby is approximately 6 inches/ 14.2 centimetres long from crown to rump and she weighs about 7 ounces/ 190 grams. Her chest moves up and down to mimic breathingbut she's not taking in air, only amniotic fluid" Week 18 (I.e 120 days) (Source: Wikipedia) The lanugo covers the entire body. Eyebrows, eyelashes, fingernails, and toenails appear. The fetus has increased muscle development. Alveoli (air sacs) are forming in lungs. The nervous system develops enough to control some body functions. The cochlea are now developed, though the myelin sheaths in the neural portion of the auditory system will continue to develop until 18 months after birth. The respiratory system has developed to the point where gas exchange is possible.

  17. Az-zumar, 39:6 Yusuf Ali:He created you (all) from a single person: then created, of like nature, his mate; and he sent down for you eight head of cattle in pairs: He makes you, in the wombs of your mothers, in stages, one after another, in three veils of darkness. such is Allah, your Lord and Cherisher: to Him belongs (all) dominion. There is no god but He: then how are ye turned away (from your true Centre)?

  18. Three layers of darkness • Amniotic sac • Uterine wall • Abdominal wall

  19. It is the male that determines sex of the baby (XY chromosome) And that He creates the two mates - the male and female - From a sperm-drop when it is emitted

  20. Some history of embryology • 4th century BC: Aristotle described chick embryo development in stages • 2nd century AD: Galen described placenta and foetal membranes • 15th century AD: Leonardo da Vinci illustrated foetus in uterus • 17th century AD: Leeuwenhoek described early stages of chick embryo • 20th century AD: 1941 Streeter describes stages of human embryo • 21st century AD: 1972 O’Rahilly more accurate description of human embryo 1400 years before Quran described human embryo development

  21. Prof Keith L Moore, human anatomy scientist’s words (1981) “It has been a great pleasure for me to help clarify statements in the Quran about human development.  It is clear to me that these statements must have come to Muhammad from God, because almost all of this knowledge was not discovered until many centuries later.  This proves to me that Muhammad must have been a messenger of God.”

  22. Physiology: Quran on cerebrum Al-Alaq (96:15-16) No!  If he does not stop, We will take him by the naseyah (front of the head), a lying, sinful naseyah (front of the head)!  A book entitled Essentials of Anatomy & Physiology says about this area, “The motivation and the foresight to plan and initiate movements occur in the anterior portion of the frontal lobes, the prefrontal area. This area of the cerebrum is responsible for planning, motivating, and initiating good and sinful behavior and is responsible for the telling of lies and the speaking of truth.

  23. Al-Hajj (22:5) O mankind! if ye are in doubt concerning the Resurrection, then lo! We have created you from dust, then from a drop of seed, then from a clot, then from a little lump of flesh shapely and shapeless, that We may make (it) clear for you. And We cause what We will to remain in the wombs for an appointed time, and afterward We bring you forth as infants, then (give you growth) that ye attain your full strength. And among you there is he who dieth (young), and among you there is he who is brought back to the most abject time of life, so that, after knowledge, he knoweth naught. And thou (Muhammad) seest the earth barren, but when We send down water thereon, it doth thrill and swell and put forth every lovely kind (of growth).
