  2. Introduction LET'S HAVE A CAKE-OFF! You have to prepare a strawberry shortcake for the Strawberry Festival. Students will be divided into groups of 3 and will be assigned a grocery store in which to buy their ingredients.

Process • You will be placed into groups of three and will be assigned a store to purchase your ingredients • Your objective will be to find and buy the cheapest ingredients in your store* • Find the unit price of each ingredient used in the strawberry shortcake recipe on the Food Network website • Total the cost of all the ingredients and total the cost of just the ingredients needed to make one cake with the help of the provided conversion chart *For extra credit, if any of your items are on sale find the percent decrease and the amount saved
