  1. Assalamualaikum Wa Rahmatullah Wa Barakatu • Further are some pictures of significant places visited by me during my visit to the land of Al-Wahy, or the land of revelation. • I am forever grateful to Allah for the priveledge afforded to me. • It is with all humbleness that I would like to share this experience with you. • Wa Salaam

  2. This is on the plains of Arafat. • Arafat is an open plain of land, where pilgrims MUST, present themselves in order for the Hajj to be complete. • It a place just outside Makkah.

  3. This is a cave on Jabal Thaur. • When the Prophet (as) was persecuted by his people, and then exiled, on the way out, he and Abu Bakr (ra) hid in this cave. • After they hid in the cave, a spider spun its web around the mouth of the cave. Also, there was a tree just outside the cave, on which there was a bird nesting an egg. This bird is usually terrified of other creatures. • When the Meccans came almost to the mouth of the cave, they noticed the spiders web as well as the bird, and that led them to the conclusion that no one could have come there. • In that way, Allah Protected the Prophet (as) and Abu Bakr (ra).

  4. This is a small mount on the plains of Arafat, known as Jabal Rahmah. • The pillar symbolises the site where Hazrath Adam (as) repentance was accepted.

  5. This is Jabal Nur. Just below the Arabic is the entrance to the cave of Hira. • This cave is the place to which the Prophet Muhammed would retreat to, in contemplation of Allah. • It was in this cave that the first revelation was brought to him by the Arch-angel Jibreel. • Incidentally, once in the cave, one will find himself automatically facing the Holy Mosque in Mecca.
