  3. Cats and Dogs: GRAPES & RAISINS • Unclear cause • Small amount causes damage to the kidneys • 24 hours after ingestion

  4. Cats and Dogs: ONIONS • Destroys animals red blood cells • Leads to: • Anemia • Weakness • Breathing difficulties • Poisoning occurs a few days after the onion is eaten • Cats more susceptible • Garlic less toxic than onions

  5. Cats and Dogs: AVOCADOS • Contains PERSIN • Damage heart and lungs • Toxic also to other animals
