Target groups • General Public majority not only minority group • Parents • Media (local & national) • Public servants (social services, health services, police etc.) • Pupils/students • Education communities • Ministries • Teachers (professional associations, unions) • Universities • School professional staff (psych. ped, rehab.)

  4. General public – messages • Tolerance • Acceptance • Openness • Sensibility • Respect

General public – instruments • Provide information/knowledge • Provide experience - involve • Provide examples – good practices Tools: Leaflets, billboards, video, educational films, workshops, out-reach programs, role models, media campaigns, MEDIA CAMPAIGNS WORK – media needs concrete data and a story

  7. Educational Communities All of us CAN!!! & MUST!!! General • Involve education community as a whole • Work on 3 levels, (national, local community, school) • Cross sectorial cooperation (education, health, social welfare) • Public awareness • Development training measures

Ministry (national) level • have data and provide concrete recommendations • disseminate data and consult on recommendations • Mobilize resources • Facilitate work on local and school level • Facilitate media campaign • Facilitate cross sectorial cooperation Development/training • Provide training for teachers, head teachers, school inspectors and school support staff • Provide psycho social support to teachers & supervision

  9. School level Awareness • Parents • Local community Plan activities for raising awareness on social inclusion issues into already existing school events such as Open days, School day, Holiday celebrations Involve school boards and parent councils into planning activities Social Inclusion Fairs

  10. School level Development /training -common WS for teachers and parents -teacher to teacher support -using recorded class situation as (self)reflection on teacher behavior
