  2. Before starting… • Ensure that your qualification details are up to date. • To do this ‘Login to my pages’ from IfL site • Click on ‘Qualifications’ on left hand side and check that you have updated your qualifications.

  3. What are the stages involved? • Stage 1 – expression of intent Use the members’ area to complete the expression of intent form • Stage 2 – apply After you have expressed your intent, you will be able to access a webfolio in REfLECT • Stage 3 – conferral IfL will review and comment on your application

  4. Declaration of suitability • It is essential that you print off, sign and post the ‘Declaration of suitability’. • This can be found by going to: Home/Careers and CPD/Gaining QTLS or ATLS/Policy Documents and forms

  5. Mandatory elements • Full teaching qualification or General Professional Recognition Learning and Skills (GPRLS) • Numeracy and literacy skills at Level 2 • Subject Specialist Diplomas for Skills for Life teachers • Supporting testimony • Declaration of suitability

  6. Personalised elements • Teaching biography • Subject currency • Teaching and Learning • Self evaluation • Professional development planning • Reflective practice

  7. Deadlines – you can express your interest in Sept/Oct 2012 and Dec 2012 and Jan 2013
