Sue Holmes RE Adviser – East Riding SACRE Marilyn Cowling RE Adviser - Hull SACRE Developing Confidence in Leading RE • Purpose • To develop confidence in: • using the Agreed Syllabus • monitoring and evaluating the quality of RE in your school • leading and supporting colleagues • assessing standards and progress in RE • Morning session • Agreed Syllabus overview • Task setting to raise standards • Smart monitoring • Trouble shooting • Afternoon session • Constructing an Enquiry into an aspect of faith • Developing depth in learning (e.gs from at least 3 faiths) • Assessing standards and ensuring progression A CROSS–PHASE course in two halves: To re-vitalise leaders of religious education To support those wishing to further develop their leadership role Venue: The Priory Centre, Priory Road, Hull HU5 5RL 23 October 2013 from 09:15 to 12:15 and 13:00 to 16:00 £75 per session - including refreshments £150 full day - includes lunch + refreshments + new RE syllabus material + To book, please email the form sent with this flyer to sueholmes@email.com
