It does, however, reflect all items that INSURV inspectors need to see as part of the USW DTE brief in order to ensure there are few, if any, questions prior to commencing the exercise. • This is not designed for any particular platform and should be tailored to fit the needs of your particular ship.

  4. Watch Stations • Include your watch bill for the evolution here (required).

  5. Communications • This is where you can include any communication info if you desire (not required).

  6. Equipment Readiness • All systems are fully operational • (Annotate any system discrepancies here) • All pre-fire checks were completed satisfactorily • (Provide: status of pre-fire checks to Senior C5 Inspector at brief) UNCLASS

  7. System Configuration • SVTT engagement: • AWS in TACTICAL • VLS in STBY • UCFS in TACTICAL • TSP in Remote • Port Tubes trained • Port Tube 2 air flask charged and installed • VLA engagement: • AWS in TEST • VLS in SIM with SIM 6 loaded • UCFS in TEST • Tailor to fit the equipment configuration for your ship.

  8. DTE Sequence • Drop XBT and determine MDR. • Drop 3 Buoys on a course of 070 MAG (083T) at .75 MDR spacing. • Establish Data Link on ARR-75. Maneuver the ship to 250 MAG (263T). • Drop EMATT 1 MDR from last Sonobuoy. • Confirm by Sonobuoy that EMATT is Operational. • Detect, Localize, Track and Classify EMATT with all sensors prior to simulated engagement. • Pass contact info to CADRT via voice and Data. • Conduct Simulated Attack using SVTT with Air Slug. • Place AWS and UCFS in Test. Load SIM 6. • Conduct Simulated Attack with VLA. UNCLASS

  9. OP DEMO -Scenario based on assumed EMATT magnetic course of 070. -Lay buoy field on ship’s course of 250 (X = Sonobuoy). -Deploy EMATT (O = EMATT) then turn port 180 degrees (---- = ship’s path).

  10. Procedure • Include any specific ship procedures here. • sonobuoy freqs, EMATT settings...

  11. NOTES • This is not a tactical evolution, only an equipment demonstration. • Ship’s Force will not proceed to the next phase in the DTE until the Senior C5 Inspector has seen everything they need during the previous phase.

  12. Small Object Avoidance Demo • (Example if using nav buoys) Ship will demonstrate SOA during the outbound harbor transit <or inbound transit, etc>. • Nav buoy ### will be used at the target. Estimated time at buoy ### is 0900.

  13. Safety • Include any safety criteria you desire (not required).

  14. ORM • Include any Risk Management if you desire (not required).
