  1. Turks and Caicos Presented by: Helen Fahey Project 6: Planning Your Dream Vacation December 16,2011

  2. Climate of Turks and Caicos Average Temps. In the Spring April 66-82°F May 70-87°F June 74-90°F Turks and Caicos is sunny, sunny, sunny! The sun shines 350 days a year with an average temperature of 83°F. There's generally low rain and humidity compared to their Caribbean neighbors. The surface temperatures of the water are warm, perfect for comfortable swimming, snorkeling, etc.! Average surface temperatures are 75-77°F in the winter, and up to 82-86°F in the summer.

  3. How to get to Turks and Caicos Being that New York City is 1320 miles from Turks and Caicos, a round trip flight from JFK airport to PLS airport is only a quick 3hrs and 40mins. Not only is the flight quick, but cheap too, $412.10! So, lets pack our bags and get flying!

  4. Hotels in Turks and Caicos The Alexandra Resort -The two bedroom deluxe ocean view suite runs at $540 a night, and sleeps 1-4 people, perfect for our family! -The amount of things to do at this resort is endless! With 600ft of white sand beaches, Complimentary non-motorized watersports including paddle boats, kayaks and snorkeling equipment, Scuba diving, snorkeling, fishing & water sports arrangements, large free-form pool, lighted tennis courts, spa, and a fitness center its guaranteed to never have a dull moment.

  5. Hotels continued La Vista Azul Resort -La Vista Azul is a lot more affordable compared to The Alexandra. Because we will be traveling in the off-peak season (04/24/11 - 12/16/11), a one bedroom ocean view suite runs at $275 rather than $325 which is a great deal! -There aren’t many activities offered through the resort like The Alexandra, but not to worry! There is plenty to do in the surrounding town. Fishing, snorkeling, sailing, diving, parasailing, and kayaking can all be found at the marina, for those after something a little less arduous, the choices include shopping, spas, sightseeing, whale watching, fine and casual dining, or perhaps just a gentle stroll along the beach. Tours are also available to special local attractions and historic sites.

  6. Caicos Conch Farm"The World's Only Sea Farm that raises Caribbean Queens fit for a King" Caicos Conch Farm is the only conch farm in the world! Here conches are raised from birth to adulthood, and the lucky visitors get to see the whole process! The visitors get to see conch pearls, and can even purchase conch to eat!
