References - 6880 • Hand Books - 91 • Encyclopedias -173 • Dictionaries -198 • Reports -13 • General - 2652 • Year Books -33 Donated Books & Books on various competitive Exams Journals/Magazines - Indian - 32 & International- 03 News Papers - English -08 Hindi-02 Gujarathi-04 Marathi-03 Back Volume Periodicals • Economic & Political Weekly with chronological bibliography • Reserve Bank Bulletin((Bond Form) • Advertising & Marketing • Competition Success Review • Harvard Business Review • National Geography • University News Non Book Material - includes, CD’s, Others – Syllabus, Previous Years ‘ Question Paper Sets, Prospectus

  4. Extension Services • Book Bank Scheme (Degree Students) • Scholar’s Card • Book Exhibition- • Book review competition • Library cards and ID Cards distribution • Duplicate Library cards and ID Cards

  5. What do we do? • We provide support to students, lecturers, and researchers • Contribute to accessibility of information • Value added support – classification, organization, storing, retrieval and dissemination of information

  6. When? Library Hours: Central Library: Monday to Saturday 7:00am – 05:00pm • Issue-Return9:00am – 03:00pm Departmental Library: Monday to Saturday 7:00am – 03:00pm • Issue-Return 9:00am – 02:00pm

  7. Admission to the MKS - Library • Admission is by means of a valid student ID card/Library card • Entered as a library user or as E-resources user • Making Register entry is compulsory at the counter • For Internet Users separate Register entry is required

  8. Loan of books • Requires a student’s library card for book issuing and ID card for Reference reading • 1 Book - 07 days are allowed • Renewal of books can be done one time in person • Fines are payable for late books • No mark of pencil or ink shall be made on any book • A Book that is lost must be replaced or paid for

  9. How to access Collection- OPAC • You Can Search by • Title • Author • Class • Publisher • Location • Language

  10. Access to Internet In order to access: INFLIBNET – N List • Full text journal articles • E-books • Other Educational sites *You must be registered in a library register

  11. What is N-LIST & Why Should I Join? • Can our staff/ students log in to these resources for home? • Can I Share my Login ID and Password with my friends?
