  2. Partnership Work is dependent on reducing Statutory.

  3. Any form of tiered intervention will by its nature lead to hoop jumping and a tick box referral culture. It is then difficult for young people and families to move back down the tiers.

  4. Partnership menu – Request for Support A move away from tiering to a more holistic model based on the Tavistock iThrive Model.

  5. Getting advice • Primary Team -Observation an assessment of need. Support to staff through advice and guidance • Work with mainstream colleagues to support the development of whole school policy and practice • Signposting to other providers or models of good practice. • Attendance at a PSP or multi agency meeting • Advice and guidance on meeting the needs of pupils with medical conditions • Trailblazer – Support in developing Mental Health Policy and Practice • Training packages tailored to need delivered to staff in schools.   6. Getting help • Direct support and modelling of strategies to build capacity of school staff. Primary Team • Play Therapy for Primary Pupils with an SDQ score less than 21. From 2020 this will expand to secondary and more complex learners. • Year 7 and 8 Partnership Programme – Focussing on learners who are not at risk of exclusion but will be if nothing is done. • Trailblazer Direct support for young people with low incidence mental Health needs. Access to Psychological therapies such as CBT. • Provide targeted support and assist with successful integration into mainstream. • Support transitions between phases and provisions. Return to Menu

  7. Getting more Help • Partnership Places - There are a number of places available for pupils for whom a full-time placement at a mainstream setting is inappropriate. These are full time or part time. All places are reviewed every 6- 10 weeks with the mainstream provider. • Brokering of managed moves. This may involve a part time temporary placement at Tor to support the integration. Return to Menu

Getting risk support • Monitoring of all young people and families at risk who do not or will not access intervention. • Monitoring and awareness of families who are raised at TAS as concerns • Monitoring of managed moves and PEX who have been placed. • Liaison with TAS and SENCO network. • CSE advice from Lisa Hooper CSE charity. • Liaison with Violence reduction unit to monitor families at risk Return to Menu
