  1. Meditation Mantra – Effective Remedy to Reduce Stress and Anxiety People living in the 21st century have a more significant load of problems when compared to the previous centuries. Irrespective of age, most people suffer from stress. According to a survey conducted by the American Psychological Association in 2020, the global average number of stressed people in 143 countries is 35%. This is an alarming number. Thus, with a mental health crisis looming, we must take precautionary measures to reduce stress and anxiety. Precaution is better than cure To cry over spilled milk is of no use. Everyone faces stress in their daily lives. As long as it is in a manageable amount, it is not harmful and may even push you to do better. However, things begin to get out of hand when stress brings along anxiety, and the quality of your life begins to deteriorate. To reduce stress and anxiety naturally, the root cause of the problem must be understood. It may be academic deadlines, work, or social pressure, amongst many other reasons. Try to find what makes you anxious. If possible, avoid the trigger. If it is a part of your daily life that is unavoidable, learn to manage it better. If school stresses you out, find an activity that puts you in a better mood to do before

It may be challenging to get used to meditating. Start slow and only meditate for a few minutes. As you get used to it, you can meditate for extended periods. Guided meditation is another way to start your meditation journey. Several podcasts and videos are made on the topic to help beginners attain peace and get used to meditating. Undergo music therapy While mindset and medication are essential factors in reducing anxiety, they are not easily accessible. To train your mind to be calm, you need to develop habits like meditation and train it to manage difficult and stressful situations. Medication and professional therapists are expensive options that are most definitely effective but expensive and may not be accessible to all. If you wish to make do with your resources, music may be your stress buster. A simple search on the internet to reduce stress and anxiety music will result in thousands of options that you can use. If you prefer slow-paced music, you can enjoy listening to it while doing other chores or working. However, if you enjoy fast-paced music, you may even dance along to let out some built-up nerves.
