The Internet Crime Report by IC3 reveals that the center received more than 300,000 complaints in the year 2017. The reported losses calculated were over $1.4 billion. That is just the economic side of these crimes. Millions of cases get reported of the viruses and malware which comes from the web to peoples system and causes damages.
