  2. The aim of the lesson: • To be able to change a noun into plural. • To be able to use S or ES to make a singular noun into a plural noun.

  3. How to change into plural: When we want to change a singular noun into plural… 1. First we are taking of the a or an… 2. Second we are adding an S or ES.

  4. Ad an s to the end of the word: A book books An apple apples

  5. If the word ends with:-s, -ss, -sh, -ch, -x and the exception -o…we add esto the end of the word.

  6. A bus buses A dress dresses A watch watches A brush brushes An ax axes A potato potatoes

  7. What to we need to remember… • After we changed the word into the plural form • we need to check: • 1. we dropped the a or an (from the beginning of the word). • 2. we checked the end of the word and add the s or es according to rules.
