  2. OBJECTIVES Increase the visibility of Eurostat’s data and related services Increase users’ knowledge in Eurostat data

  4. THE PRESENTATION Updated Power point presentations Examples on-line Questions Practical part: exercises in group

  5. THE TARGET GROUPS Public administration IDESCAT: Staff of the body responsible for official statistics in the region of Catalonia SEC: Statistical and technical staff from other institutions and bodies of the Statistical System of Catalonia

  6. THE AUDIENCE • 90 people turned up to the events (98 registered) • IDESCAT: 42 participants from all departments (production units, quality department and communication service) • SEC: 48 participants. Technical staff • The background existing knowledge of the Eurostat databases varied widely
