  3. Projects in woodworking • The first project you'll work on is the oven puller. It looks like this: • The second is a picture frame: • The third project before final project, is a wooden box:

Tools of woodworking List of tools commonly found in woodshop: • Miter Saw:to cut rough board to length • Table Saw: To crosscut and rip boards to width and length • Band Saw: to roughly cut pieces into shape • www.HomeDepot.com • Planer: to get board to right thickness • Jointer: to square face and edges of board • Drill Press: to cut precise holes into boards

  5. Writing procedures • You'll need a plane composition note book with graph paper • When doing a project you need to write a step by step guide to project • Leave no detail out of procedure even mistakes

  6. Final project • Final project should incorporate all you have learned over the semester • Teacher will give you several ideas on what you can build • Ideas include: • Tool box • Hanging shelf • A coat hanger • etc.
