Sgt. Jay M. Hoskins USMC Sgt. Hoskins, age of 24, sacrificed his all on August 6, 2009 in Farah province, Afghanistan. This Marine came home on August 13, 2009 and was laid to rest on August 15, 2009 with the much deserved tribute to a Hero.

  1. Sgt. Jay M. Hoskins USMC Sgt. Hoskins, age of 24, sacrificed his all on August 6, 2009 in Farah province, Afghanistan. This Marine came home on August 13, 2009 and was laid to rest on August 15, 2009 with the much deserved tribute to a Hero. Sgt. Hoskins was well respected throughout Lamar County and the Paris, TX. community. He was highly admired by the entire area as an upstanding young man and a soldier. Our condolences go out to the Family and Friends of Sgt. Hoskins and to all the citizens of Lamar County and the City Of Paris, TX.

  2. The Patriot Guard Riders would like to thank the family for inviting the Patriot Guard Riders to attend this Heroes services. It was an honor to be a part of Sgt. Hoskins arrival home and his Funeral Services, he is one of our Heroes. We will always stand Tall, Silent and with Respect for our fallen Heroes such as Sgt. Jay M. Hoskins. The Patriot Guard will be there when you need us 100% of the time. “Like a rock, the Patriot Guard is always there.”
