  4. Madagascar participatedactively in GEO plenary session sincehiscreationbecause of the financial support of the GEO Secretariat and the EuropeanCommission. Madagascar recognized the EC’s help to the developingcountry suchas Madagascar. Madagascar was a GEO – CBC Membersince the begining and now in DataSharingWorking Group, and in many area of the SocietalBenefit. Madagascar is a Country member in GEO since 2009 untilnowand in AfriGEOSS, because of the precious help and support of the EC.
