  6. Plot dementor • Harry gets attacked by dementors sent by the Ministry • Harry learns that Voldemort is after something that he did not have before, such as a weapon used to kill Harry • Dolores Umbridge becomes the new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher to reassure that students do not believe that the Dark Lord has returned • Harry’s mind gets invaded by Voldemort so that Harry comes to fight Voldemort • Harry fights the Death Eaters at the Ministry of Magic and escapes without being killed, but Sirius does not, who is killed by his cousin Bellatrix Lestrange

  7. Conflict/Resolution • Light vs. Dark • Conflict: The Dark wants to use Harry’s prophecy to kill him and the Light wants to stop the Dark from getting and using the prophecy • Resolution: The Dark and the Light fight at the Ministry and the prophecy is broken during the fight and the Dark does not hear it • Believers vs. Non-believers • Conflict: The Ministry (non-believers) wants Defense Against the Dark Arts taught in a safe, risk free way because the Minister does not believe that Voldemort has returned and Dumbledore, Harry, and his friends (believers) want Defense Against the Dark Arts taught normally because they want to be able to defend themselves against Voldemort • Resolution: Harry and his friends form the D. A. (Dumbledore’s Army) so people who want to learn how to defend themselves can

  8. Theme • The theme of this story is do not always try to be the hero of everything • This is the theme because when Voldemort invades Harry’s mind, he knows that Harry will try to save Sirius by coming to the Ministry and it will make it easier for Voldemort to kill Harry

  9. Personal Book Review I thought Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix was awesome. I could have read it many times over and over again and would have never got tired of reading. The action never stops coming. There are spots where you are left hanging, thinking about what is going to happen next. This book inspired me to be the best person I can be. All in all, this book was spectacular. I recommend this book to mature readers.
