  2. What is Rhyme? • A rhyme is a repetition of similar sounds in two or more words and is most often used in poetry and songs.

I love this little booger.All shiny green and black,You can hold it for a minute,But I want my booger back.It stays right where I put it,It sure knows how to stick,And if it gets dry....?It just needs a little lick!I can hold it on my finger,I can flick it in the air,I can stick it underneath a desk,Or underneath a chair.I can make a ball and roll it,Just to see which way it goes,I love this booger everywhere,Except inside my nose.

  8. What is rhythm? • Rhythm in a poem is the beat that the poem follows. • The most obvious kind of rhythm is the regular repetition of stressed and unstressed syllables found in some poetry.

  12. What is repetition? • Repetition is simply the repeating of a word, within a sentence or a poetical line.
