LA APLICACIÓN DEL CONCEPTO DE CADENA, PERMITE: • ANALIZAR CARACTERÍSTICAS DE DIFERENTES ACTORES Y SUS INTERRELACIONAMIENTOS. • PLANIFICAR ACTIVIDADES QUE PERMITAN ALCANZAR OBJETIVOS ESTRATÉGICOS COMPARTIDOS POR LOS ACTORES. • FACILITAR EL LOGRO DE LA COMPETITIVIDAD, JUNTO CON PRINCIPIOS DE EQUIDAD, SEGURIDAD ALIMENTARIA Y SOSTENIBILIDAD • MOTIVAR LA ORGANIZACIÓN DE PEQUEÑOS Y MEDIANOS PRODUCTORES PARA ARTICULARSE EN CADENAS COMPETITIVAS. • MOTIVAR EL DIÁLOGO Y LA CONCERTACIÓN ENTRE AGENTES ECONÓMICOS TRADICIONALMENTE ENFRENTADOS HASTA LOGRAR QUE SE RECONOZCAN COMO SOCIOS Y ALIADOS. • PROMOVER LA CONCERTACIÓN ENTRE INSTANCIAS PÚBLICAS Y PRIVADAS PARA LA FORMULACIÓN Y ADOPCIÓN DE POLÍTICAS.
