  1. I’m a personal trainer and a running coach and I completed the Pittsburgh Marathon last weekend. Yes, all 26.2 miles. For me and my experience, has been quite entirely the most formidable marathon I have done! I have been humbled by the actual forces that I was working with in terms of fitness and wellness. It has been quite the journey! So, you may have noticed by now that I really enjoy running and training for a running event. Have you ever given this a thought or a try, let’s say, even with a 5k? I love running and cycling races because they give us something tangible to work towards. As a personal trainer and a running coach, I’ve been training and running races since 2010. When I began, I loved that it took my mind off of the aesthetics of what my body looked like and put my mind on taking good care of my body and seeing the potential of what it could do. Have you ever thought about doing something like a 5k or a 10k, or beyond? Here’s the video message and my notes on my blog! http://bit.ly/2rHc2SV

  2. Join me as I discuss what I gleaned from my journey from January this year to May in deciding to commit to training and following through, and much more! This is why running is important to me and elicits such a response from me, no matter the weather of the time of the year. A few lessons I gleaned: • Stress affects our bodies and our physical performance, even when not running or training for a marathon. • Always have a next goal. • Give all that you have today. Don’t worry about what you’ll do tomorrow when tomorrow comes and you know what you have tomorrow to show up with. • Always do your best. • Find what you’re thankful for. • Be conservative in your approach/training As always, let me know when I can be of help to you on your health, fitness, and wellness journey!
