VAR(ABEGI) = ΣVAR = .69 + 1.78 + 1.78 + 1.36 + .44 = 6.05 VAR(ACDFHI) = ΣVAR = .69 + 1 + .25 + .25 + .11 + .44 = 2.74 << 6.05 so only the critical path is of concern σ = √6.05 = 2.46, and P(X < 26) = P(Z(obs) < Z(26) = (26-24.67)/2.46 = .54) From the Z table on page 745. we get ≈ .70
