Turkish Culture. By: Kyra Burke 8C. Where is Turkey?. Turkey is a unique country. Turkey is in two continents, Europe and Asia. Approximately 5% of Turkey is in Europe which means approximately 95% of Turkey is in Asia. Greece, Syria, Iraq, and Iran are some of the cities that border Turkey.

  2. Where is Turkey? Turkey is a unique country. Turkey is in two continents, Europe and Asia. Approximately 5% of Turkey is in Europe which means approximately 95% of Turkey is in Asia. Greece, Syria, Iraq, and Iran are some of the cities that border Turkey. The Black Sea, The Aegean Sea, and the Mediterranean Sea are the seas that border Turkey.

Major Cities in Türkiye • Istanbul, Izmir, Antalya, Ankara are the major cities in Turkey. • Istanbul is famous for being the only part of Turkey that is on territory of both Europe and Asia. • Izmir is famous for its tourist places and its industrial functions. • Antalya is famous for being a touristical area. • Ankara houses the U.S. embassy of Turkey.
