  1. Hi, I wanted to show you a bit about why we produced our summer checking out program. For me, it was because of my trainees. Over the years of mentor in my private learning center, moms and dads would bring their kids to me that were behind in reading and spelling. https://asia.google.com/url?q=https://kidsontheyard.com/summer-reading-program/ https://clients1.google.com/url?q=https://kidsontheyard.com/summer-reading-program/ In some cases they were just a bit behind, often they were way behind, and sometimes they were at grade level and simply wanted to progress much faster. In some cases this was since the students had finding out problems like dyslexia and ADHD. Other times, this was simply because the instructors did not teach all of the specific skills needed to check out. There is a science-proven, step-by-step way that all kids can prosper with reading. Sadly, instructors themselves often are not taught how to teach kids in this way. https://cse.google.com/url?q=https://kidsontheyard.com/summer-reading-program/ https://cse.google.com/url?sa=t&url=https://kidsontheyard.com/summer-reading-program/ The issue was that I was just able to see them for an hour at a time and just twice a week. How could I get these trainees' skills up while not simply supplying a band-aid service? Conventional tutors typically simply deal with homework. Regrettably, this does not attend to the source of trainees' problems and does not really get their abilities up. So, I went to the research study and what I learned from my mentors in my early years of teaching. I found that short activities frequently produce better results than long labored work. I found that mentor in a systematic and structured way to target each location of reading and spelling worked. https://ditu.google.com/url?q=https://kidsontheyard.com/summer-reading-program/

I found that utilizing graphic organizers helps trainees find the main idea and details, series events, and arrange their ideas to enhance their understanding. Students could finally comprehend and imagine what they read. I found that many words in English follow 8 particular spelling patterns and when you find out the patterns, spelling becomes easier and spelling lastly makes sense. I found that brain-body activities improve neuroplasticity and equate to making learning easier in all locations. I found that executive function abilities were frequently not taught in school. These skills are so crucial, not just with preparing for school projects however in life. https://ipv4.google.com/url?sa=t&url=https://kidsontheyard.com/summer-reading-program/ https://plus.google.com/url?q=https://kidsontheyard.com/summer-reading-program/ I discovered that teaching through our senses (hearing, seeing, and doing) improved their reading and spelling abilities faster. It did not matter if they had finding out challenges or if they were just merely wanting to advance faster. I create a program of these findings into brief 5-20 minute day-to-day activities that I might do with my students. It wasn't long before my trainees and moms and dads started seeing significant results. Students that lagged by 1- 2 years frequently got up to grade level in 2-4 months. Teachers started to ask what I was doing with these kids. Moms and dads wanted to know what the magic sauce was. I knew I had to make my program readily available to more students no matter where they live. I required to make the program in such a way that moms and dads can do it with their kids on their schedule at home. This is why I developed the summertime reading program. https://posts.google.com/url?q=https://kidsontheyard.com/summer-reading-program/ https://www.google.com/url?q=https://kidsontheyard.com/summer-reading-program/ The program does take some involvement from a parent for grades K-2, however for grades 3-8, many kids can do
