  1. BCCI Planning For Completing IPL 2021 in UAE Report As the 2021 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) has already suspended mid-way, the BCCI is all set to finalise the window to complete the remainder of IPL 2021 and they are going to take a call in its upcoming Special General Meeting on May 29 as well. However, they are looking to host the rest of the 31 matches in the UAE in the September-October window after the conclusion of India’s tour of England as well. India will tour UK next month whereas the series will begin from June 18 when they will take on New Zealand in the final of the inaugural ICC World Test Championship. After that, they will play against England in a five-match Test series which is starting August 4 as well. Notably, the tour will end on September 14 which gives BCCI a window from September 15 to October 15 to host the remaining IPL games. That will leave the BCCI with 24 days to conclude 27 matches. This window has four weekends available, which means a total of eight Saturdays and Sundays for double-headers, that can accommodate 16 matches. That will leave the BCCI with 11 matches to be held in 19 days. That’s a week extra,” TOI quoted sources as saying.
