Rahul Dravid, who is currently the head of NCA, has successfully played the role of a coache for India A and India Under-19 teams which won the World Cup as well. However, India's bench strength was tested during the Australia series where India won the series convincingly. While regular captain Virat Kohli returned home due to his paternal leave and several veteran players got injured, India's young guns like Shubman Gill, Shardul Thakur, Mohammed Siraj, Washington Sundar, Rishabh Pant, and Navdeep Saini came in front and helped India register a historic win under the leadership of Ajinkya Rahane. Currently, Virat and Co. are in England, preparing for the inaugural edition of the ICC World Test Championship finals as they will take on New Zealand in Southampton from June 18. Meanwhile, Australian batsman David Warner praised Dravid when he talked about India's bench strength and shared that they will be a force to reckon with in near future. He also credited Rahul Dravid for the 'fantastic job' he did grooming the youngsters as well. "When you take the captain (Kohli) away, who is a world-class player and has a lot of runs on the board, and you've got this youth coming with energy and performing against us the way they did, I think they are going to be a force to be reckoned with," Warner said on Sports Today.

It seems like he is doing a fantastic job through the pathway system to get these players ready for international cricket. It showed when they came to play us here. In future India is going to be a very formidable side in Test cricket as they are now," Warner concluded.
